“I would tell my younger self that it’s OK to not have all the answers, and to speak up when you don’t understand a certain topic, strategy, or acronym. Speaking up about your lack of knowledge on something is a strength, not a weakness, and it’s also the quickest way to learn.”

Since joining T. Rowe Price four years ago, Monique Bosco, a public relations specialist, arrives every morning with a sense of purpose and leaves every night feeling her contribution was impactful. “That's incredibly important to me," she states.

One day particularly stands out to her as a great example of the firm's culture. As part of a team-building activity, Bosco and her colleagues from the Corporate Communications team volunteered at a local homeless shelter in Baltimore. “We were able to get to know each other outside of work while simultaneously helping the local community," she says. “It's great working for a company that supports nonprofits and makes charitable work a priority."

Whether associates are collaborating with a team in the office or volunteering together for a great cause, Bosco says one thing remains certain: Your voice matters at T. Rowe Price, where you are encouraged to bring your ideas to the table and to be inquisitive about things you may not understand. “One thing I wish I could tell my younger self is that it's OK not to have all of the answers, and to speak up when you don't understand a certain topic, strategy, or acronym—it's safe to say I'll never know all of our acronyms!" she says. “What's great about T. Rowe Price is that associates are encouraged to do just that. You'll find that people here respect you for asking and are more than happy to explain."
