Trouble Logging In

The most common reason for receiving an error message is if one or more pieces of the information entered do not match what we have on file. Please review the information entered to ensure that it's accurate.

Double check the user name you are entering by using our Forgot User Name functionality, which is a very simple process. We highly encourage this as a first step.

Some helpful tips to recall your existing T. Rowe Price user name:

  1. It must be between 6 and 32 characters long
  2. It cannot be the same as your password
  3. It cannot be the same as your Social Security number
  4. It cannot contain spaces or the following characters:
    " % & ' + ; = , ^ `{} > <

Retrieving your user name is an easy two-step process:

Step 1. Follow the on-screen instructions to provide the information associated with your account. An Access Code will be sent to the email address associated with the account, or your Two Factor Authentication Method, if you have one on file.

Important— After submitting this information, the screen will update, asking for a access code to be entered. Please do not leave or close the browser window, because doing so will require you to repeat the process.

Step 2. You will use the access code delivered by email to retrieve the current user name associated with your online access.

If you haven't received the email after several minutes, you can have it resent, by hitting the "Resend Code" button. If your code was sent to an e-mail, check your junk and spam folder for an email titled:
"T. Rowe Price – Login and Security Information Alert".
