This fund offers attractive long-term capital growth potential and, secondarily, income, by investing in established European companies, allowing investors to take advantage of the approximately 30% of the world’s stock market value traded in Europe. Further, the economic integration of European Union countries bodes well for the long-term prospects of well-managed European firms.
The fund involves higher risk than a more geographically diverse international fund because of its focus on a specific region. Share prices are subject to market risk as well as risks associated with unfavorable currency exchange rates and political or economic uncertainty abroad.
